Note of Defiance tells the stories of Vera and Roman, two artists who amidst Russia's invasion of Ukraine fight to preserve their culture, art, and normalcy. From bomb shelters and underground parking garages just 40km from the frontline, they share music and dance with the citizens of Kharkiv, holding on to hope that they will soon perform again on Kharkiv's premier stage.
